Whole basil seeds from controlled organic farming. An important source of protein, high content of unsaturated fatty acids (omega 3 and 6) and very high fiber content. Gluten-free, lactose-free, vegan.

Basil is a classic of Mediterranean cuisine (pesto, caprese, dip). Its seeds, highly prized in Asia as a superfood, have the unique ability to swell up to 30 times their volume.

Ingredients: lupins* (*from controlled organic farming, Germany).

Usage: in accordance with Novel Food regulations, basil seeds are to be used only in fruit juices and vegetable/fruit juice blends, after pre-swelling and pasteurization, at a rate of 3 g per 200 g.
