UrgoTül gauze 10x10 cm (10 pieces)

UrgoTül is a non-occlusive, highly flexible lipidocolloid-impregnated gauze used as a wound dressing. It consists of a thin polyester fiber mesh impregnated with hydrocolloid (carboxymethylcellulose) particles, paraffin, petroleum jelly, and polymers.

Upon contact with wound exudate, the gauze forms a lipidocolloid layer that maintains a moist environment. Thanks to its composition, it does not stick to the wound or its edges, allowing for painless and atraumatic dressing changes.

Before use, clean the wound according to the usual protocol, then rinse thoroughly with a physiological solution if an antiseptic has been applied. Remove the protective film and apply UrgoTül directly to the wound. Cover with a secondary dressing suitable for the level of exudate and secure with a stretch bandage, adhesive tape, or an elastic tubular bandage. The gauze can be cut to the desired size using sterile instruments. The frequency of dressing changes depends on the state of the wound and the recommendations of the healthcare professional.
