Non-woven sterile compress with polyabsorbent [polyacrylate] fibers. Thanks to needle-punching that connects the fibers parallel to the wound, it absorbs and traps slough and exudate. Its high tensile strength allows for removal in one piece.
The fibers are coated with a TLC (Technology Lipido-Colloid) micro-adhesive matrix that forms a gel, facilitating the drainage of slough as well as the application and removal of the compress. Upon contact with the wound, it maintains a moist environment. Removal is atraumatic and painless, and the surrounding skin area is protected.
