UrgoStart Plus is a poly-absorbent fiber dressing with a TLC-NOSF micro-adhesive matrix. It is highly conformable, easy to reposition, and can be removed in one piece.
The dressing can be cut to the desired size using sterile scissors. It must be covered and secured with a secondary dressing suitable for the location and level of exudation. It can also be used in combination with compression therapy (e.g., UrgoK2). The wear time is 1 to 2 days; the frequency of dressing changes should then be adjusted based on the volume of exudate and clinical progression. The maximum wear time is 7 days.
