Torm Gallium Thermometer in Case - 1 unit

The Torm Gallium thermometer is a glass medical thermometer designed for measuring body temperature at home. It can also be used in hospital settings due to its ability to be effectively disinfected.

Practical: This thermometer allows for temperature measurement via different routes: oral, axillary, and rectal. Taking a temperature requires a minimum of 4 minutes to ensure an accurate measurement* *+0.1°C / -0.15°C

Hygienic: The Torm Gallium glass thermometer features a hermetic, waterproof, and hygienic glass casing and can be fully disinfected.

Non-toxic to both humans and the environment: It contains a specific alloy of gallium, indium, and tin. The thermometer contains no mercury, nickel, or PVC. This thermometer operates without batteries as it uses the principle of thermal expansion of metals.

Indications: Instructions for cleaning and disinfection: The TORM Gallium glass thermometer features a hermetic, waterproof, and hygienic glass casing and can be fully disinfected. The temperature of the cleaning and disinfection solution must not exceed 42°C. Before and after each use, the thermometer must be cleaned with cold soapy water. Disinfection should be carried out using a cotton pad soaked in alcohol or by immersion in a disinfectant solution (soaking conditions and duration according to the disinfectant manufacturer's instructions). In the event of the thermometer breaking, the spilled liquid can be cleaned up using a brush, a tissue, or a cloth soaked in soapy water. Broken pieces can be disposed of as household waste.

Warnings: The thermometer is made of glass (body), a fragile material that requires precautions during storage and use. Ensure that all necessary precautions are taken during measurement to avoid any risk of injury. During oral measurement, ensure you do not bite the tip of the thermometer, talk, eat, play, or run until the thermometer is removed from the mouth. Do not drop the thermometer and do not subject it to impacts. If the glass casing is scratched, cracked, or damaged, do not use the thermometer due to the risk of injury. If the thermometer is broken, the glass shards and the measuring liquid must be carefully cleaned. The measuring liquid must not come into contact with precious or light metals, as it may react upon contact with these metals.

Shelf life: 5 years (from the manufacturing date mentioned in the batch number). Do not use beyond the expiration date.

Please note: Temperature measurement in children should always be performed under adult supervision. Keep the thermometer out of reach of children. Do not expose it to high temperatures or direct sunlight.
