Mepilex Border Flex is a highly conformable foam dressing with a superabsorbent layer and Flex technology. Its unique Flex technology allows for 360-degree stretch, adapting to the body, even on difficult-to-dress areas. It can be worn longer than other dressings (for example, on knees and elbows). Its exceptional adhesiveness prevents premature detachment, offering better control over the frequency of dressing changes.

This five-layer dressing features the Safetac silicone adhesive contact layer, which adheres gently to the skin without sticking to the moist wound, facilitating removal without damaging the skin. The backing film features exudate progress dots – a grid of equidistant dots – allowing you to monitor progress between changes for more efficient use. In larger sizes, a three-part release film simplifies application to different areas of the body.

Usage: Clean the wound according to standard procedures. Carefully dry the skin around the wound. Remove the central release film, apply the adhesive side to the wound without stretching the dressing. Then remove the side films and smooth down the edges.
