The Damask Rose gets its name from the capital of Syria, but it is a variety of rose that has its roots in Persia, present-day Iran.
The main components of the essential oil may vary depending on the plant's origin.
Properties: The Damask Rose is a thorny shrub (1 to 2 m) with dark pink flowers.
The precious Damask Rose essential oil (also called: Rose Otto or Attar of Rose) has an intense, sweet, and captivating fragrance.
Note: It should be distinguished from rose water and CO2 rose extract, which are less expensive, and from Rosa centifolia (Moroccan Rose) essential oil.

Do not exceed the indicated daily dose.
