Cutimed Siltec is a highly absorbent foam dressing, specially designed for low to moderately high levels of exudate. Its foam structure allows for vertical absorption of exudate of varying viscosities and amounts, while offering high water vapor permeability. Thanks to its superabsorbent technology, exudate is securely retained, even under compression.
Composition
Cutimed Siltec consists of polyurethane foam with a gentle-adhesion silicone film. Latex-free formula, not manufactured with natural rubber latex.
Dressing changes
The dressing can remain in place for up to seven days on the wound, depending on the condition of the wound and the level of exudate.
