How does it work?

It detects the hCG pregnancy hormone in your urine at any time of day,
from the presumed date of your period,
thanks to an optical reader that analyzes the result for you and displays it in full words.

Indeed, when you are expecting a baby, your body secretes a pregnancy hormone called human Chorionic Gonadotropin (hCG).
The amount of hCG present in your body increases rapidly during the first 12 weeks of pregnancy.

Although hCG levels peak between weeks 7 and 12,
they remain higher than normal for the rest of the pregnancy and up to approximately 3 weeks after delivery.

hCG levels remain above normal for approximately 9 weeks if you have had a miscarriage or undergone a termination of pregnancy.

Directions for use:

Before performing the test, it is absolutely essential to insert the refill into the device.

When you are ready, follow the procedure:
remove the refill from its protective pouch;
remove the cap;
locate the blue arrows on the device and on the refill and align them so that they point towards each other;
insert the refill into the device until it clicks into place. The 'Test ready' symbol will appear on the screen;
place the absorbent tip, pointing downwards, under your urine stream for 5 to 7 seconds (or dip the absorbent tip into the collected urine sample for 15 seconds);
the symbol indicating that the test is ready to be read will start flashing after 20 to 30 seconds. Do not eject the refill at this stage;
wait 3 minutes before reading the result to find out if you are pregnant or not.

Some results may appear in less than a minute.
