Psoriasis Xerial DM is indicated for the treatment of symptoms of psoriasis vulgaris.
Applied to the skin and used topically, Psoriasis Xerial DM has a keratolytic action.

It reduces scales and the thickness of red and hardened plaques.
It diminishes inflammatory symptoms by promoting the reduction of erythema (redness) and itching while intensely hydrating the skin.
Its film-forming texture protects the skin.

(1) Clinical investigation, self-assessment, on 30 patients with 2 psoriasis plaques (≈ 20 cm², spaced at least 15cm), application of Psoriasis Xerial DM twice a day for 30 days followed by a phase of using an active treatment until complete remission, then use of Psoriasis Xerial DM for 28 days, evaluated after 7 days.

How does it work?

Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory disease characterized by flares and remissions throughout life.
Psoriatic skin manifests as thickening of the skin (hyperkeratinization) accompanied by inflammation, resulting in red plaques and thickened white scales, often accompanied by severe itching and redness.

The skin barrier is altered, and the skin becomes dry.
These symptoms impact quality of life, an impact reinforced by certain misconceptions such as: "psoriasis is due to poor hygiene" or "psoriasis is contagious" which are erroneous.

Psoriasis Xerial DM contains high-dose dermatological active ingredients to effectively treat the symptoms of psoriasis vulgaris:

• Kerato-repair complex: 15% pure urea and a marine exopolysaccharide, a keratolytic action that treats thick plaques and reduces scales.
  The marine exopolysaccharide (Breton red algae) has been tested on psoriatic skin and has an anti-inflammatory action in addition to its keratolytic one.
• Emollient agents (27%): shea butter and camelina oil, soothe and protect the skin.
