Raab® Organic Maca Premium powder (150 g)

Maca root is grown at altitudes of over 3,000 meters in the Peruvian Andes. Prized by the local population for approximately 2,000 years, it was imported to Europe by the Spanish as early as the 16th and 17th centuries. For this Raab organic powder, only roots from Peru are used, with a concentration ratio of 6:1 (6 kg of fresh roots for 1 kg of powder).

This powder contains valuable glucosinolates (mustard oil glycosides; 270 mg / 100 g or 14 mg / 5 g), as well as macamides and macaenes, which are characteristic secondary plant substances.

Ingredients: 100% maca root powder (Lepidium meyenii Walp) from controlled organic farming in Peru.

Average nutritional values (per 100 g / per 5 g): Energy 1533 kJ / 361 kcal (75 kJ / 18 kcal), fat 1 g (< 0.5 g), of which saturates 0.2 g (< 0.1 g), carbohydrates 76 g (2.8 g), of which sugars 30 g (1.5 g), protein 12 g (0.6 g), salt 0.05 g (< 0.01 g).

Recommended use: Stir approximately 1 teaspoon (5 g) daily into a liquid (smoothie, juice, plant-based drink, muesli, or yogurt).
