The vaginal microbiota, also known as the vaginal flora, is composed of 90 to 95% lactobacilli.
Through the production of lactic acid, these lactobacilli stabilize the physiological pH of the vagina.
The vaginal flora can be altered for various reasons such as hormonal changes, metabolic disorders, stress, the use of unsuitable hygiene products, surgical interventions, or medication intake.
To support women in their intimate comfort, PiLeJe laboratory has developed Feminabiane Intima, a food supplement based on 3 probiotic strains2 dosed at 10 billion per capsule:
- Lactiplantibacillus plantarum, previously called Lactobacillus plantarum
- Lactobacillus helveticus
- Lactobacillus gasseri
And vitamin B2, which contributes to the maintenance of normal mucous membranes.
