Inspired by 60 years of research on breast milk, Guigoz Laboratories have developed Guigoz Optipro 2, formulated with 5 of the main oligosaccharides found in breast milk(1), an adjusted protein content*, and a combination of vitamins and minerals to meet your baby's nutritional needs* from 6 months to 1 year, as part of a diversified diet:
- Vitamins A, C, and D*, which contribute to the normal functioning of the immune system.
- Iron* which contributes to normal cognitive development and Zinc* for normal growth.
- DHA* (docosahexaenoic acid) and ALA* (alpha-linolenic acid), two essential fatty acids from the Omega 3 family. DHA contributes to the normal visual development of infants**, and ALA participates in the normal development of their brain.

Breast milk is the ideal and natural food for every infant. However, if you cannot or do not wish to breastfeed, medical professionals will advise you on an infant formula for your child. Do not change it without seeking your doctor's advice.
Follow-on milk is a component of infants' diversified diet from 6 months onwards and cannot be used as a substitute for breast milk during the first 6 months of life.
The decision to introduce complementary foods, including before 6 months of age, should only be made on the advice of a healthcare professional.
