Sweet potato is a robust plant whose stems can reach 3 meters high!
Originally from South America, it is very common in tropical regions where it is a staple food.
It has been cultivated in France since 1750.
Much more subtle than the potato, to which it is not related, its sweet and sugary taste will please little ones!
This delicious plant has a lot going for it: no, it is not the poor relation of the potato, to which it is not from the same family.
A true superior mother of tuber plants, with its melting texture and sweet flavor, it definitely regains its nobility thanks to a hint of grapefruit juice.
We have to admit that we hadn't necessarily thought of sweet potato for our babies.
Nor had we thought of adding grapefruit juice to their puree.
It just goes to show that sometimes you need a greater Chef than yourself.
