It is complementary to rigid orthoses, which are better suited for nocturnal wear.
During the day, the thumb appears to be at rest, yet it constantly moves as the hands move through space.
These repeated micro-mobilizations are detrimental and are one of the triggering factors for painful inflammatory flare-ups.
Properties: The Epitact orthosis opens the thumb web space, allowing the thumb to be maintained in a resting position.
By maintaining local warmth thanks to the properties of its fabric and silicone tendon, it has an analgesic effect.
Thin and discreet, the orthosis allows you to continue wearing your jewelry.
Without Velcro, it does not damage clothes.
It is machine washable at 40°.
