Description:
BSN Medical Cutimed Sorbion dressing allows for the retention of large amounts of exudate without drying out the wound.
It respects the periwound skin, without maceration.
In the shape of a square or rectangular cushion, conforming to the wound bed, with flat and rounded edges, atraumatic and comfortable, without adhesive, pressure-resistant.
Features:
- Reduction of the number of germs present in the wound bed, by sequestration during gel formation (antibacterial)
- Reduction of the concentration and activity of matrix metalloproteinases, enzymes that can delay the healing process
- Reduction of the concentration and activity of pro-inflammatory cytokines
- Facilitates gentle debridement of the wound, without maceration
- Protection of newly formed tissue
- Comfortable and usable under compression bandage
- Latex-free formula
Indications:
Primary dressing:
- For moderately to very heavily exuding wounds: lower limb ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers...
- For wounds undergoing guided healing: ulcerated cancerous wounds, pancreatic or anal fistulas, exuding burns (superficial second-degree)...
