Description:
BSN Medical Cutimed Sorbion Dressing allows for the retention of large amounts of exudate without drying out the wound.
It respects the periwound skin, without maceration.
In the shape of a square or rectangular pad, conforming to the wound bed, with flat and rounded edges, atraumatic and comfortable, without adhesive, pressure resistant.
Features:
- Reduction of the number of germs present in the wound bed, by sequestration during gel formation (antibacterial)
- Reduction of the concentration and activity of matrix metalloproteinases, enzymes that can delay the healing process
- Reduction of the concentration and activity of pro-inflammatory cytokines
- Facilitates gentle wound debridement, without maceration
- Protection of newly formed tissue
- Comfortable and can be used under compression bandages
- Latex-free formula
Indications:
Primary dressing:
- for moderately to very highly exuding wounds: leg ulcers, pressure sores, plantar neuropathic ulcers...
- for wounds undergoing directed healing: ulcerated cancerous wounds, pancreatic or anal fistulas, exuding burns (superficial 2nd degree)...
