Description:
BSN Medical Cutimed Siltec B Dressing is used for moist wound healing. It is made of polyurethane, highly absorbent, and used for exuding wounds in the debridement and granulation phase when the perilesional skin is fragile (non-adhesive).
Dressing with adhesive silicones, adhering to the perilesional skin without adhering to the wound bed or new tissue, composed of 4 elements, from the surface in contact with the patient's skin and wound to the external surface of the dressing:
- perforated silicone mesh, on a polyurethane and polyethylene backing,
- polyurethane foam, approximately 3 mm thick,
- superabsorbent strips,
- blue polyurethane film, over the entire external surface of the dressing, semi-permeable (permeable to oxygen and water vapor, to allow gas exchange, while being impermeable to water).
Indications
Primary dressing for lightly to heavily exuding wounds: lower limb ulcers, pressure sores, gangrene in diabetic patients, surgical incisions, skin grafts, lacerations or abrasions
