Properties:
BSN Medical Cutimed Siltec B dressing is used for moist wound healing, based on polyurethane, with significant absorption, used for exuding wounds in the debridement and granulation phases when the perilesional skin is fragile (non-adhesive).

This dressing with adhesive silicones adhering to the perilesional skin without adhering to the wound bed or newly formed tissue, is composed of 4 elements, from the surface in contact with the patient's skin and wound to the external surface of the dressing:

• perforated silicone mesh, on a polyurethane and polyethylene backing,
• polyurethane foam, approximately 3 mm thick,
• superabsorbent strips,
• blue polyurethane film, over the entire external surface of the dressing, semi-permeable (permeable to oxygen and water vapor, to allow gas exchange, while being impermeable to water).

Indications:
This primary dressing is intended for low to highly exuding wounds such as:
lower limb ulcers, pressure sores, gangrene in diabetic patients, surgical incisions, skin grafts, lacerations or abrasions.
